Sven to become director of football?

Former England manager Sven Goran-Eriksson has today been in talks to become a director of football at Notts County. The news first broke last night when The Sun reported he was due to replace Ian McParland as manager, but it seems Notts chairman Peter Trembling has persuaded Eriksson to join the club as a director. He was recently sacked by Mexico after a disastrous start to their qualifying campaign but has an exemplary record at domestic level.
