Super Stall Beats His Best

He hit 23 league and cup goals during the 2000-2001 season, and has now overcome that hurdle and how he can push on and hopefully get up to the 30 goal mark by the end of the season.

Stallard hit 2 2nd half spot kicks yesterday to secure the 3-2 win over Huddersfield, and he admitted afterwards there was plenty of pressure on him when he stepped up to take the injury time penalty.

"To be fair I was going to dink the 2nd penalty as well, because it would've taken a brave keeper to stay still for a last minute penalty, but I wasn't brave enough!!." Said Stallard.

"Huddersfield made it hard for us, they are down there scrapping for their lives and they've had a new manager this week and to be fair we've coped with the old theory that teams get a new manager and they win their first game for them, but we came out 2nd half battling and got a result." Added Stallard.
