Billy Dearden brought the versatile defender to Notts on trial during the summer, and being able to play in midfield as well Dearden decided to give him a chance to impress.
Dimech took part in the clubs first 3 pre-season games against Hucknall, Ilkeston and Grantham, where he played in a variety of positions. He looked more impressive going forward from midfield, and demonstrated that with a strong 2nd half performance against Hucknall.
Following those 3 games, nothing else was heard of Dimech and he was released. Notts County MAD has been searching to find Dimech's current club, but sadly no details have been found.
