Strang and Bhatia finally takeover

Ex Chairman Albert Scardino
The duo who have just about forged a link with Italian giants Juventus and have promised Bill Dearden money to spend on seven new players have taken over Notts County Football Club.

The majority of Notts supporters will be delighted to hear this news. As according to a poll on this website, 82% of fans want Strang and Bhatia to takeover, compared with just 15% for the American, Albert Scardino. The rest of the percentige went to the elusive Vantis Sports Solutions.

Raj and Frank satisfied Paul Finnity that they met all of his conditions and the conditions of the five other parties: The Football League, The Football Association, The Professional Football Association, Nottingham City Council and Derek Pavis.

A new Chief Executive will come into place shortly, he is currently serving at a Football Club and his identity will be revealed soon.

This fantastic news means that Billy Dearden can now actually MANAGE and do his job with some financial backing. He will be allowed to sign up to seven players and bring in a new assistant manager - presumably Steve Parkin.

The squad will be able to train in the Dolomites in Italy in the summer, and play a friendly with a Serie C club.

Mr Bhatia is set to finalise the link with Juventus, as he flies out to Turin in the next few days.

The future hopefully can now be black and white and bright, as we begin a new era under these new owners.

Raj Bhatia and Frank Strang are the new owners of Notts County Football club.
