Still No End In Sight, Even After 7 Months

Notts County’s lengthy stay in the hands of the administrators shows no sign of coming to an end, for a few more months at least.

'Voice of Notts County'
Speaking on Radio Nottingham’s ‘Match Talk’ programme tonight, Notts County correspondent, Colin Slater, said that with the mortgage and other money issues still not resolved and agreed, the Magpies would loose their latest chance to shrug off the administrators when they visit the Birmingham Chancery Court next Monday.

At the fan’s forum a few weeks ago Notts County’s administrator, Paul Finnity, said that he would hope Notts would not be under the rule of the administrators for too much longer and he confident that they would be out before the New Year. Those were also the hopes of Albert Scardino.

This, however, no longer seems to be the case and no one is apparently willing to say when the next date for hopefully coming out of administration will be.

With Notts running up bills, of what is now thought to be in the region of £250,000 to £300,000, the cost of being saved and hopefully kept in business could be an expensive one.

As if Scardino hasn’t been interrogated enough recently, he will come up against some more tough questions on Saturday when the club hold an AGM meeting before the game against QPR at Meadow Lane.

Will Notts’ money problems ever end?
