Stallard cooly slotted home on 59 minutes to secure 3 more vital points for Notts and beat his record of 17 goals in the league in the 2000-2001 season.

The Derby born forward hit 23 goals that season, with 6 goals coming in cup games as he finished the clubs top scorer and Notts missed out on a playoff place in Jocky Scott's first season at the helm at Meadow Lane.

"Stall" as he is known to the Meadow Lane faithful, hit his 50th league goal for the club on New Years Day at Wigan and now has 65 goals in total for The Magpies.

Stallard is just 4 goals short of his season best record with Notts, and with 11 games left to play, who would bet against this seasons top scorer beating his previous record.
