Stall Believes Work Rate Is The Key

3 wins and a draw in their last 4 games have seen Notts rise to 14th in Division 2, but Notts remain only 5 points away from the bottom 4.

And Stallard was quick to point out that the ones hitting the net are not the only heros, with plenty of hard work and off the ball workrate has been one of the main reasons behind the turnaround of form.

"That is what you need. You need players with determination," Stallard told the Evening Post.

"You need players who are willing to put in hard work and we have that at the moment, we have players in the team with the willingness to do that.

"Paul Bolland, Ian Baraclough and Michael Brough can all be included in that category. But they are not the only ones.

"They make up for the lazy ones like me."
Joked the 19 goal top scorer.

Stallard also believes Notts having nothing to fear when they take on Cardiff City at Ninian Park tomorrow. The Bluebirds sit 3rd in the league and have lost only two home games all season.

"It will be a tough game, but we have nothing to fear. Why should we have?" he said.

"We will be hoping that the injuries are not too bad, because you never want to lose key players but the way we are playing at the moment, we shouldn't fear anyone.

"We are not taking anything for granted, we know there is still work to do but we are in good form. We are playing well."
