Skipper Closing In On Suspension

Caskey was given the captain's armband permanently over the summer after taking on the role near the end of last season, and seemed to relish the opportunity.

Notts boss Billy Dearden told Caskey in the summer he would be fined if he continued to pick up bookings for mouthing off at the Referee in games, he would be fined and even stripped of the captaincy.

However, 3 of Caskey's bookings have been for mouthing off at the Ref. He picked up a booking against Wigan for a foul, followed by dissent in defeats to Oldham, Cardiff and Port Vale.

Caskey must now watch what he says to the Referee over the coming weeks, and this is undoubtably his downfall.
