Team breakdown: The Imps are expected to set out in a 4-4-2 formation following the half-time transformation that inspired their 5-1 romping of Accrington Stanley.

Prior to the break, they had lined up in an ineffective 3-5-2, but with such an improvement after the break, Peter Jackson will no doubt stick with the reverted layout.

present between the sticks this season, performing in all 20 of the Imps' matches. On the bench will be 6ft 5in stopper Ayden Duffy, who has made just one substitute appearance this season.

At the back - County may wish to keep the ball on the deck due to the aerial abilities of Janos Kovacs and Ben Hone at the heart of the visitors' defence. Aaron Brown is also pushing for a start following an impressive display last week, which he topped off with a goal. Ex-Leicester City and Chelsea defender, Frank Sinclair will return from injury but may have to settle for a back-up role.

In the middle - Stefan Oakes could miss out altogether, due to a poor performance against Accrington, in which he was dragged off at half-time to accommodate the new formation. Lee Frecklington and Scott Kerr can expect to keep their places, alongside Sam Mullarkey who shone after coming off the bench.

Up front - Although Dany Guessan is available for selection again, he is likely to sit out to allow target-man, Ben Wright and top-scorer, Adrian Patulea to pick up from where they left off last Friday. Lenell John-Lewis and David Graham are likely to be named as substitutes.

NCM verdict: The Magpies are yet to beat a top-half side so far and considering their torrid form over the last few games, this does not look likely to change.

Prediction: Notts County 1-1 Lincoln City
