The club thanked Gedling Town and their chairman via the club's Official Site for their co-operation for giving Scoffham have his big chance.

Scoffham- who worked as a builder as well as playing for Gedling- will actually be taking a pay CUT to come and play professionely at Notts.

The pacy forward completed a medical and signed formally yesterday.

He is not expected to be in the first-team picture for a few weeks, as he seeks to adjust to the professional game.

Meanwhile, former Walsall midfielder Stefan Oakes, who's transfer was exclusively revealed here on NCM, is expected to complete his signing either today or tomorrow, as he has trained with the club all week.
