The 20-year old will sign for the club this coming Monday securing his first contract as a professional after the prolific goal-scorer at ‘Town passed a medical test earlier today.

Scoffham becomes the club’s first permanent signing since Jocky Scott secured the services of Steve Mildenhall, Ian Baraclough and Darren Caskey, amongst others, back in the Summer of 2001.

Mills told the club’s official web-site: ‘He (Scoffham) is a young lad with a lot of ability. He is a good athlete and can score goals. We just have to make sure that he is match-fit.
