With the news over the weekend that Scardino is launching a takeover bid to regain control of Notts County, who could be kicked out of the league with the May 27th deadline drawing ever closer, it has already caused unrest amongst supporters who have openly admitted they do not want Albert Scardino involved with the football club.

Scardino is battling it out with Frank Strang and Raj Bhatia's consortium to gain control of The Magpies, with Strang and Bhatia's takeover bid accepted nearly two weeks ago.

And last night Scardino spoke out on the football phone in "MatchTalk" about his possible takeover deal, and about some of the mistakes he made when first buying The Magpies over a year ago.

"We did a poor deal on a buisness that needed finance more quickly than we could find it". Admitted Scardino last night.

"This was a sales transaction that we should not have gone into but you learn from it." Added Scardino.
