Ross Watch 4

There is little to report as of yet with regards to any possible deal. However it is looking increasingly unlikely following Ross' involvement with Sheffield United's Reserves last night.

Ross... A return looking increasingly unlikely
Ross lined up for a Reserves ‘A' side alongside established stars Danny Webber, Michael Tonge and Christian Nade.

They faced Middlesbrough's Reserves, featuring Jason Euell and Malcolm Christie, losing a thriller by five goals to four in Billingham.

Ross started in his preferred central midfield position as Blades boss Neil Warnock continued to rule over him to determine whether or not he can push for a place in the Bramall Lane first team.

He failed to involve himself in any of the goals, and was withdrawn after 82 minutes with the score at 5-3.

It is expected to be revealed before Monday whether or not Ross will stand a chance of a return to Meadow Lane, after he left ten days ago.
