After making his final, for now at least, Notts appearance as a late substitute in Saturday's 2-1 win at Accrington Stanley, Ross returned to his home club Sheffield United on Monday.

Ross... We're watching you
A meeting was scheduled with the Preiership sides manager Neil Warnock, though no news from that meeting have as yet been released.

Ross, speaking to the Official Site just prior to his return said, "Sheffield United are the club I support and I would love to play for them if I can, but if I can't then I want to be playing games all the time. I would love to stay here if I'm not in Neil's plans though."

It is understood that Notts boss and former United manager Steve Thompson has asked to extend his loan until the end of the season. He also spoke to the Official Site, "I would certainly welcome him staying on with us."

Tonight, Ross has been named in the Blades' reserves side for their trip to Wigan Athletic Reserves.

NCM will bring all the latest in 'Ross Watch' tomorrow.
