Les Robinson In Action For Mansfield
Robinson was released by The Stags last month, after Stuart Watkiss decided to pay up the final year of his deal so he could bring in fresh blood.

Notts boss Billy Dearden took Robinson to Field Mill last year, and installing the veteran as Captain, and was an ever presant as Mansfield gained promotion to the 2nd Division.

The 35 year old has racked up over 600 appearances over the years, making appearances for Mansfield, Stockport, Doncaster and Oxford United.

"Les turned down the chance to stay in the league with Notts County & also interested Tamworth" said Hednesford manager Ian Painter talking to HTFC.co.uk after snapping up the 35 year old.

Whether of or not Robinson was offered a permanent deal with Notts remains to be seen, but Dearden is still short at the back with just 3 recognised centre halfs on the books, and only 1 of them is fit.
