Ritchie set for Notts move?

After the story inititally broke and was confirmed by the club yesterday, Portsmouth winger Matt Ritchie now seems extremely close to sealing a reported £100,000 move to Meadow Lane. The Daily Star have reported that the deal has been done and also the fee, whilst BBC Radio Nottingham have said that the deal is set to be concluded within the next 48 hours, alongside two other players, one of which is said to be another striker.

Ritchie, who was on loan at Dagenham last season, scored 3 goals in 2 games passed the Magpies and impressed the Notts staff sufficiently for them to launch a bid for his services. Despite featuring prominently for Portsmouth in pre-season and signing a two-year deal in the summer it seems Paul Hart is ready to let the winger leave Fratton Park.
