The Nottingham born left sided player has been unable to force his way into Billy Dearden's side on a regular basis this season and has made just 2 starts and 1 sub appearance throughout the campaign.

He has struggled for form at times in the reserves this season and added to that a number of injury problems he has had, it has not been the best of seasons for the youngster who was expected to make a real push for the first team this season.

He made a big impression on Billy Dearden last season when he had an outstanding game at left back in Dearden's first game, but injury again ruled him out a few weeks after.

In all Riley has made 10 appearances for The Magpies.
