Ricky 'Shakes' Shakers

As far as debut's go, this will have to be one of the finest League Two has seen.

The 22-year-old signed for Terry Bucther's Bees just in time of the close of the summer transfer window, to make the bench for Brentford's trip to Bury.

He is renowned as an impact player but to quite this extent, really was a shock.
Shakes...A real handful

He came off the bench with game tied at 1-1 to notch up the winner six minutes form time and hand Brentford thier first away win in the league this season.

He went on a tricky run surging into the penalty box, struck it from 15 yards and got a fortunate defelction that saw his first shot in the back of the net.

His energy and turn of pace was a real handful for the tiring Bury defence.

And, if Saturday was a sign of things to come for Shakes at his new club, it could be an exciting season ahead.

His goal doesn't make him an instant hit. Greater tests lie ahead and he will still have to prove he has settled into life with the Bees.

But as far as introductions go, he will be pretty pleased.

He will certainly add a cutting edge and brings a wealth of talent for such a young lad.

He enjoyed three years at Swindon Town after failing to cut the grade at Premiership Bolton, but has already been capped by the Trinidad and Tobago senior squad.

Bucther can be pleased with his eleventh hour capture.

NCM back him to shine in League Two. His pace and skill down the right hand side of midfield will be tough to stop.

His flair make him good to watch and a possible match winner.

A fine debut but consistency will be how he is marked.

As he has shown, on his day he can be lethal but too many off days will cost him his starting shirt.
