Zadkovich – who joins Mark Stallard and goalkeepers Rob Elliot and Wayne Henderson amongst Richardson’s additions to the side since his appointment – had been trialled with the club in recent reserve matches after having been informed he would not be offered any sort of future at Loftus Road after his current contract expired.

Richardson today completed the signing of the youngster, who becomes Richardson’s first permanent signing one hundred and thirty-four days into office.

Speaking to the Notts County Official site earlier today, Richardson said "Ruben is a talented player, and obviously I feel he can add something to the squad,"

"He is very creative player, as we saw in the reserves last week. He isn't afraid to have a run at players and has a good eye for a pass, and although he is still young, he will be a good player for us."

"He is willing to learn and impress, and he will be involved at some stage tomorrow at Chester."
