And he is said to be looking forward to the new season as he told the Official website: “It’s only a one-year deal, but hopefully if I can do well, I’ll be able to earn myself an extension to this.
“I look forward to the start of every season, and this year’s no different. I want to be involved in as many games as I can, and for us to win as many games as we can.
“But we’ve got a tough start to the season, and it’s important that we do well in opening months.”
Notts manager Billy Dearden was equally jubilant at securing the former Birmingham players services for another year.
“I’m pleased to have him back on board, said Dearden. “He shined in a reserve outing at the end of last month, and now he’s just got to get fit for the start of the season.
“I’m more than happy to have him in the building, as it now gives me another option, and an additional body for selection.”
