Mills clearly believes the striker will sign for the club, but refused to give us a name just yet.

Millsy- refused to say who the striker was
Mills, talking to the Evening Post, said: "We have found the man we want to bring in as a replacement for Mark Stallard and I am hopeful there will be positive news on that in the very near future.

"He is a player from a higher division but I am not saying any more, because I don't want to scupper anything at this late stage.

"All I'll say is that he is younger than me!

"I am by the phone waiting for an answer. We hope there is positive news. Everything seems to be okay up to now."

One thing I will say is, let's hope this striker has a fair bit of experience, considering that, at the moment, our most experienced striker is 22-year-old Paul Heffernan. No under-19 striker here, it's got to be Tommy!
