Tony Hackworth - Had Notts' Best Chance
Jermaine Easter finished from close range to give Hartlepool victory following a cross from the left hand side.

Tony Hackworth came close to levelling on 20 minutes, but his header was well saved by the home keeper.

The Magpies rarely troubled Pool's keeper after that effort, with Saul Deeney by far the busier goalkeeper.

Trialist Michael Sissons once again appearing for The Magpies, while Willis Francis wasn't involved following his appearance for the youth team on Monday night following his hip injury.

The defeat has more than likely ended the reserve team's hopes of gaining promotion this season. After starting so well, they have faded away with a number of losses over the winter months.

Team: Deeney, Wilson, Riley, Stone, Bostock, McFaul, Appleby, Sissons, Nurse, Hackworth, B Richardson
Subs: Friars, McIntyre, Barrow, Commons, Barcherini
