Billy Dearden - Complained To The FA

Nicky Fenton, Danny Stone and Michael Brough all picked up yellow cards in the clash at Ashton Gate, and boss Billy Dearden hopes they will be overturned after he complained to the FA that they should not stand.

Notts were leading 1-0 at the time the game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch, and Dearden was angry that Paul Heffernan's goal would not count but the bookings would.

"We are expecting to hear from the FA in the next few days," Dearden told the Nottingham Evening Post.

"We are hoping that at least two of the bookings will be cancelled. It depends on what the referee sees on the video.

"It is up to him to decide what he thinks - whether he believes the conditions have played a part or not."

At the moment Fenton stands on 6 bookings this season, while Brough has 3 and Stone has 2.
