Ramsden, on loan from Sunderland for the season, picked up a booking in the 2nd half and will now sit out the games against Huddersfield and Blackpool at Meadow Lane on 29th March and 5th April.

The versatile youngster has performed in a variety of roles this season for Billy Dearden's side, featuring across the whole back line as well as playing some part in midfield.

Meanwhile, Dearden could also be without Michael Brough for the Huddersfield game, as he is on International duty with the Wales U21 squad.

"If we are still in a position where we are in need of points and we have any kind of shortage in the squad, we will have to consider our options." Said Dearden.

If Notts are clear of danger, however, Dearden is not likely to take that option.

"We will just have to assess the situation as and when." Added Dearden.
