It seems optimism has been restored at Meadow Lane since the departure of Steve Thompson and arrival of Charlie McParland.

The Magpies may still be a far cry from a play-off pushing side, but they're on the up.

Charlie has restored the faith and with attendances on the up - there should be good times ahead.

But, 37yearsapie had his word this week on the NCM messageboard: "You support Notts County not Thommo or Charlie. Yes it's great ya back but should have even been at the start of the season!"

It is hard to support a team on the fall, but it is loyal fans that will turn results around.

Come wind, rain or snow you should always count on your fans turning out.

It is the club badge you support through thick and thin.
