Peterborough Chairman Darragh MacAnthony has revealed the capture of new shirt sponsors for next season, MRI Overseas Property, the company he currently chairs.

MacAnthony... Providing great financial backing
They have signed a £3 million deal, the biggest ever in the football league's history. It even betters several sponsorship deals in the English Premiership.

MRI have over 1000 members of staff, based in 16 countries worldwide and sell an overseas property at an average of one every 45 minutes.

Following an appearance on SKY One documentary 'Big Ron Manager' this time last season, the Posh have attracted great new revenue, with MacAnthony arriving in the summer to provide incredible financial backing.

Despite the sacking of Keith Alexander at the end of January, he was replaced by Darren Ferguson, United have spent nearly £1 million on transfers. Putting that into perspective, Notts have spent nothing.

Speaking to a press conference this morning, a delighted MacAnthony said: "MRI are delighted to sponsor the Posh over the next couple of years which will hopefully see the profile of the club rise as it makes its way up the leagues."
