Poll Result: Board right not give Richo top job

Last updated : 26 April 2005 By Rob Davies
Despite an immediate outcry from The Magpies' support when loyal servant Richardson was told he was not to be given the job past the summer, the results to NCM's latest poll delivers a contrasting view.

Nearly three quarters of votes cast - a total of 72.3% - stated that the under-fire board were correct in their decision to look for a new manager.

Just 27.7% disagreed, despite original claims being that the vast majority of Notts fans were in favour of Richardson being appointed as manager.

The result must come as good news to the board, who have come in for a barrage of unjustified abuse from a vocal minority of County supporters.

The full poll result is below, while a new one - asking who you want as the club's new manager - should be appearing on NCM shortly.
