Poll Result: 2 out of 3 ain't bad

The question we raised this week (Wednesday to Wednesday) was about whether you thought Mills was right to list the underacheiving trio, and 35.7% of you did just that, agreeing with the Notts County manager that it was the neccesary action to take.

However, just over half of you thought that, while Mills was right to list veteran defender Whitlow and failing midfielder Gill (pictured left) - both signed in the summer - it was wrong to list Pipe.

The Welsh under-21 captain had come very close to scooping the player of the season award for last year, despite only being here for the second half of the season, such was the impressive nature of his displays.

And despite his recent performances not coming close to those of last year, many fans still believe it was too harsh to list Pipe and the majority would, no doubt, be extremely sad to see such a talent go.

Only 11.3% disagreed with Mills altogether, saying it would do no good whatsoever to list the players. This should come as a real boost to the under-pressure Notts manager, who is beginning to win back a few supporters who had turned against him after the club's terrible start to the season.

A new poll will be on NCM shortly. If you have any ideas as what you'd like to see as a poll, e-mail your thoughts to rob@nottscounty-mad.co.uk and we will get it on the site for you.
