Peterborough Trio meet their Former Club

All three have spent time at Meadow Lane in recent years, but all left and, after playing for various other clubs, found their way to Peterborough United.

Former Notts Captain Ian Hendon
Pearce and Hendon were part of the record-breaking Notts team that won promotion from the 3rd Division five years ago and Adam Newton was on loan at Meadow Lane for 7 months during the 2000-2001 season.

Adam Newton has played the majority of the games this season and scored one goal against Second Division Champions Wigan Athletic. He is likely to take his place in the starting line-up against Notts tomorrow.

Ian Hendon played for Northampton Town, Sheffield Wednesday and non-league Barnet before signing for United in January 2003. Hendon has recently been out of the team due to injury and is rated as extremely doubtful for tomorrow’s clash.

Defender Dennis Pearce is also unlikely to turn out for Peterborough due to injury, but seems to be out of favour at London Road as he has only played in three games this season.
