Notts County defender Krystian Pearce could play again this season despite suffering a freak head injury in training that left him in hospital for two nights and with blood on his brain. The incident happened in a freak clash of heads with teammate Stephen Darby, which knocked the former Birmingham City man unconscious. However, Pearce is now on the road to recovery and Notts are hopeful that the influential defender could be fit again by the end of April.
