Parkinson Returns!

The highly-regarded former Tranmere man had been recalled by Sheffield United and ex-Notts manager, Neil Warnock after the Blades had found themselves short on players back in mid-February.

Parky Returns For Rest Of The Season
However, much to the delight of the Notts faithful, it was revealed today on the Notts County official website that Parky had rejoined the Magpies, once again on loan, this time until the end of the season or conditional upon Warnock should want to recall the player within 28 days.

Parkinson, 24, had originally been on loan at Meadow Lane for a five-game spell starting in mid-January - a time in which Parkinson managed 3 goals including the winner in a 1-0 victory over Wrexham. Although, since his Blades recall, first team opportunities have been - as they were before - thin on the ground, turning out just once in all competitions for the Yorkshire club.

Parkinson will retain the number 20 jersey which he sported in his initial loan spell and will once again play a vital role in the Magpies’ battle against the drop.
