Panel expecting the worst against Shrews

Listed below is the prediction panel for today's tough encounter with top of the table, Shrewsbury Town.

Just one out of the five supporters predicting believes that Notts will walk away with all three points in the bag.

County_Man: It's going to be a tough game that's for sure, with the Shrews full of confidence and sitting proudly at the top of the table without conceding a goal. However, three games in, things can be very deceiving, as they've faced two newly promoted teams, as well as a dire Macclesfield side. I feel that breaking them down will be difficult, but I think it's time we got our first win and in a cagy game. Sean Canham will come off the bench to head in a late set piece to win the game 1-0 for Notts. I can't see it being exciting or pretty though, but I think we will just have enough to get earn an important win. Prediction: Notts County 1-0 Shrewsbury Town

Itsjoshmeowd: Notts County's defence will have to be at their best against the Shrews if they want to maintain the spotless defensive record we've kept since moving into the Kop. I fear that this could be the end of such a good run, especially with Grant Holt up front - he certainly knows where the goal is! With County's lack of goals, I can only see one outcome and sadly that's a Shrewsbury win. Prediction: Notts County 0-2 Shrewsbury Town

Tommopie8: A combination of Shrewsbury's extravagant spending, an awesome manager and Notts' injury worries will see the Paul Simpson's side claim a comfortable victory. With Nowland, Strachan and possibly Weston missing, we'll be back to last year's awful midfield, which I believe will be overrun by the visitors. Combine this with the likes of Grant Holt up front and we're going to struggle against a very good team. Prediction: Notts County 0-2 Shrewsbury Town

Rob_NCM: Though improvements to previous miserable seasons are evident, I still think we're slightly short of the very best sides this Division has to offer, and Paul Simpson's side fall firmly into that category. I genuinely believe Shrewsbury will win this League this year, and thought as much before the season started. Grant Holt may be tarnished by his association with those over the River, but he is one of the most deadly strikers in this division and is ably supported too. With a defence yet to concede a single goal behind them, it's hard to see anything other than a victory for the visitors here. Hope I'm wrong. Prediction: Notts County 0-2 Shrewsbury Town

Pies4U: I reckon tomorrow will be a tough old battle and we might grab our first goal at home in the league, but I don't think it will be enough against a very strong Shrews side. Their firepower up front could be too much for us to handle. I hope I'm wrong but we just aren't showing enough in the final third and without Nowland, I doubt we will be stable or strong enough in midfield. Prediction: Notts County 1-2 Shrewsbury Town
