One Stays As One Goes At Meadow Lane

Jupp - Stays On
Jupp has started the last 3 games, with Notts losing 2 and drawing 1 and with him being able to play in a variety of roles has helped him become a good signing for Notts with so many injuries.

He remains at Notts for another month, with the deal expiring after Notts' home clash with Stockport County on January 11th, leaving him with 6 games to feature in for the coming weeks.

Jon Ashton will be leaving Meadow Lane however, after injury prevented Notts extending the deal. A thigh strain was picked up by the big defender at Bristol City, and the strain has left him out for 2 weeks, so Notts decided against extending the deal.

Ashton - Returns To Leicester
Paying wages for a player for 2 weeks that won't be used is something Notts cannot afford to do at the moment, so the impressive defender returns to The Walkers Stadium.

Ashton started all the league games he was available for, but missed the cup loss at Southport as Leicester did not want him cup tied.

We welcome Duncan back for another month, and thank Jon for his efforts and wish him all the best for the rest of his career.
