O'Grady stays

18-year old O’Grady [pictured], who joined initially on a one-month’s loan back in September, seems to have impressed in his time here, although yet to score a goal, showing great maturity and skill in his play. Although having mainly come from the bench, the teenager has chalked three starts in his short, steady Notts County career.

An under-18 international with England, O’Grady – with just one Foxes appearance to his name – has fallen down the pecking order somewhat due to the ascending fortunes of fellow front-man, Gavin Gordon. However, the Nottingham-born striker has persuaded Mills to keep him on the books at the ‘Lane for a further two months.

Chris’ loan spell finishes subsequent to the trip to Swansea City in late December.
