O'Grady set to stay

Last updated : 22 October 2004 By Rob Davies
O'Grady's original one-month loan spell expires after tomorrow's clash at home to Boston Utd, though the highly-rated Nottingham born player should now sign terms this Monday which will allow him to stay at the club for a further two month's.

O'Grady: Staying on
Meanwhile, presumably to free up room for O'Grady's arrival, Notts' very own young striker Shaun Harrad should extend his loan spell at Conference outfit Tamworth, as soon as his three match suspension is completed.

19-year-old O'Grady has featured in 6 games since arriving from Leicester, though the lanky forward is still to score a goal for the Magpies. He has, however, showed intelligent link-up play and looks a good foil for on-form hitman Glynn Hurst.

The striker, somewhat strangely, though has been far more impressive coming off the bench than he has when starting a game. He has also netted twice for the reserves.

Harrad seems certain to stay at Mills' former club Tamworth after impressing during his time there. The 19-year-old, though, is currently serving a suspension after being sent off in their recent cup game.

NCM will let you know if/when the loan moves are officially confirmed.
