Oakesy loves MAD

Former Leicester midfielder Oakes, who spoke to media manager and former NCM editor Mark 'Stevo' Stevenson earlier today, says that he reads NCM frequently, with the messageboard his main point of call.

Stevo, who now co-runs the Notts County Official site, told us: "Stefan (Oakes) cares about what the fans think."

"He told me today that it's (NCM) an interesting forum to read, with a wealth of varied opinions.

"I don't think he's the only player to log on either.

"He's keen to know what the fans are thinking, which shows he's taking a keen interest."

Although Oakesy clearly has his head screwed on, he's certainly not alone. As Stevo says, he's certainly not the only player who checks NCM, not only for the above-mentioned forum, but for all the up-to-date news from Meadow Lane.

Many of the backroom staff have also been spotted checking NCM, just look at the picture above the messageboard showing manager Gary Mills- in his first day in the job- checking out the No.1 fans site.

So, for the messageboard AND website that all the big names read, stay where you are. NCM is league's ahead of its competition.
