Notts to stay up

Eighty one NCM users voted in the latest interactive poll, and 53 per cent of them believe Ian McParland's men will survive the dreaded drop into the Conference.

The voting changed considerably throughout the week, after the poll was set up in the immediate aftermath of Tuesday's 4-2 defeat at Rochdale.

By Wednesday morning 80 per cent of the votes backed Notts to go down, but the tables began to turn on Thursday morning as the club announced that fans would have the Kop stand back from away fans for Saturday's game against Accrington Stanley.

It was nearly level pegging until the poll closed at midnight on Thursday, with the end result a tiny six per cent difference between the winner, yes, and loser, no.

Interestingly, in the same poll NCM ran back in February 40 out of 59 voters backed Notts to stay up.

COME ON YOU PIES!
