Last gasp: Christie netted a late winner in tonight's game.
Kettering Town pulled off a huge upset at Sincil Bank tonight, grabbing a late win through a last gasp Iyesden Christie goal.

The former Mansfield Town man nodded home a header in the 91st minute sending the Blue Square Premier side through to the second round of the FA Cup.

Lennell John-Lewis had put the Imps ahead early into the second half, latching onto a Dany N'Guessan header.

After a dominant spell by the home team, Kettering got themselves back on level terms when Craig Westcarr capitalised on some poor defending to smash the ball into the bottom left corner.

Just when everyone thought the game was heading for extra time, Christie popped up at the back post to convert a Gareth Seddon cross, prompting euphoria from the 621 visiting supporters.

Notts' manager, Ian McParland was in attendance and he will have received the message that this is no easy ticket into the third round.

NCM was present at tonight's match and will provide exclusive comments from the Poppies' boss, Mark Cooper tomorrow.
