Notts takeover completed.

Munto Finance have today completed their takeover of Notts County, with the club formally switching hands and the final loose ends of the deal having been tied up.

The Middle Eastern consortium, who's interest was first declared slightly over a month ago, now take the reigns at Meadow Lane. Peter Trembling, who has been involved in the running of the club for the past month, becomes the club's new chairman and chief executive, while Peter Willett also joins the club board.

Trembling has reiterated Munto's initial ambition of getting the Magpies back to the Championship, and said:-

"I can promise that the new owners and my management team will do everything we can to bring back success to Meadow Lane."
