Notts sweat on FA action

Notts County, along with Peterborough United, are currently waiting to see what action the FA choose to take after Tuesday night's game at London Road descended into farcical scenes at full time with over twenty players and staff from both sides being involved in a mass brawl on the touchline.

The Magpies won a tempestuous affair 3-2, but Grant McCann and Ricky Ravenhill both saw red as each side finished the game with ten men. In truth, it was a miracle no one else was sent off as the game boiled over following a first half challenge by Matt Gill on Alan Judge. After McCann's sending off both sets of players also clashed, making an FA charge even more likely.
