Ian McParland has today completed a double signing, ending the torturous wait for new strikers just two days before the season's curtain raiser.
The two forwards were earlier confirmed as ex-Gillingham target-man, Delroy Facey and non-league sharpshooter, Sean Canham.
Facey has been linked with the club for a while now and the rumours have now been confirmed as true.
McParland had been chasing the physical striker for a while, and was able to complete the deal when the Gills mutually terminated his contract.
Canham - the second arrival - joins from Conference South outfit, Team Bath.
He bagged an astonishing 41 goals in all competitions last year, throughout their promotion campaign.
This was obviously enough for Notts to gamble on the non-league front-man, who will hopefully continue his goal-scoring form at football league level.
