Notts County have missed out on the signing of Crystal Palace centre back Adam Barrett after a proposed transfer fell through. It had been believed that former Southend and Leyton Orient man Barrett was set for a move to Meadow Lane, but both a prospective move to Meadow Lane and possible deal with Bournemouth have hit stumbling blocks.
