Notts miss boat on Kaku

Just yesterday it was reported that Richardson had been on the look out for personel to boost his Magpies squad, with Blessing Kaku, as well as club-mate Ricardo Vaz Te and former County favourite Paul Heffernan, being linked with the club.

Powerful physique, top name!
However, the Nigerian midfielder – capped for his country as well as listing the Belgian championship amongst his achievements – has now all but quashed any such rumours linking him to the ‘Lane, after today having agreed to join the Rams’ revival plans, currently putting our beloved neighbours Nottm F*rest in the shade in 22nd position in The Championship. A Blessing in itself.

It could be argued that the central midfield role that Kaku is accustomed to is hardly a priority area, and so the likelihood – and readiness – of bringing in players in more needy positions – the centre forward role, for instance. A priority, if recognised, could well make way for Kaku’s fellow Bolton teammate, Ricardo Vaz Te.

Be sure to tune in to NCM tomorrow for a full analysis of Richardson’s transfers targets.
