Notts County brushed aside Wacker Burghausen this evening to earn their second consecutive pre-season win.

On trial: Greg Pearson scored for Notts today...
Despite going behind after just eight minutes, the Magpies fought back to strike four times in the first half, of which three came from strikers.

Jamie Forrester levelled the tie for County 12 minutes later, nodding home a cross at the far post.

Wacker Burghausen did score again twelve minutes later, but unfortunately for them, it was put into their own net, extending Notts' lead.

The Magpies went 3-1 up when Jamie Forrester fired his second of the game, tucking the ball away from just inside the box.

Greg Pearson rounded off the scoring moments later, latching onto a Matthew Hamshaw cross inside the six-yard box.

Adam Nowland, Gavin Strachan and Spencer Weir-Daley all missed out, as they had picked up knocks in training.

Fortunately, their setbacks appear not to be too serious, meaning that there are no major injury worries other than Stephen Hunt and Russell Hoult.
