Notts finally tie up Ritchie deal

The longest running transfer saga of the summer at Meadow Lane has finally come to a conclusion today, with Portsmouth winger Matt Ritchie signing on loan until December 31st. The left winger had been attracting Ian McParland's attention all summer and the Magpies had initially hoped to tie up a permanent deal for the 19 year-old, but have instead had to settle for a loan deal.

Ritchie spent part of last season on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge and impressed, scoring twice past Notts at Meadow Lane. He goes straight into the squad for Saturday's match against Burton Albion.
