In a joint effort by the Notts County Supporters Club and Notts County Supporters Trust, a bucket collection took place around the ground at yesterday’s home match with Rochdale to raise money for those affected by the heart-rending events over the past few weeks out in Asia.

Destroyed.
County joined other clubs nation-wide – Port Vale, Wrexham, Millwall and QPR to name but few – in doing their bit for the fund raising efforts for areas worst hit by the tragedy, with a fantastic sum of £1,082 having been raised.

Talking to the Notts County Official Site, Trust Chair Keri Usherwood said, "The tragic events in south-east Asia have shocked everyone and the terrible images on television, along with the mounting death toll, have brought the horror of what has happened to us all.

"We are delighted that the Notts County Supporters Club and Notts County Supporters Trust could unite to do what we can to help the people in the region."
