Notts fell behind to an early goal from Adrian Forbes, before a late goal from Emmerson Boyce sealed the win.

Missed chances cost Notts, with Paul Riley & Clive Platt being the main culprits, while The Magpies also had to cope with the early loss of Paul Heffernan, who departed due to injury.
