Notts County versus Southport – Essential Information.

Last updated : 12 November 2002 By Rob Davies

Haig Avenue has a capacity of 210 seated spectators in the Blowick Road Main Stand or alternatively if you can face standing for 90 minutes then you can choose the Blowick Road Terrace where the club offers 1,200 standing places.

The prices don’t differ greatly wherever you choose to watch from, as standing is £8.00 for adults and £5.00 for under 15’s and Senior Citizens.

However, if you want seats it’s £9.00 for adults and then £5.50 for Senior Citizens or under 15’s. THESE SEATED SPACES ARE STRICTLY ALL TICKET SO GET YOURS BEFORE TRAVELLING ON SATURDAY.

Notts also recommend that you buy you tickets for the terrace in advance although it probably won’t be a problem if you don’t get

one as you can pay on the day.

PLEASE NOTE KICK OFF IS AT 2 PM NOT THE USUAL 3 PM AS FIRST THOUGHT. This is so that television cameras can film the game.

While we are on the subject of TV, those of you not travelling to the match may be happy to hear that EXTENDED highlights of the game with be featured on Match of the Day on BBC1– which usually means a 15-20 minute slot.

The only down side to this is that the Match of the Day programme doesn’t start until 12.05 am (Sunday morning that is!). So you can either stop up and watch it until the small hours or you can wait until the following morning where the repeat of the show will be

screened at 8 am.

Enjoy the Match!
