New signing Daryl McMahon spoke to the ‘Notts County Official Site' on Monday, following his month loan move:

“The plan is for me being here for a month with a view to a permanent move, but it is down to the manager and how I perform. I love playing football and perhaps it is a fresh start for me in some ways.”

“I can play on the left side of midfield or in the middle of the park, but what I will add to the squad is more a question for the manager.”

Young defender Tommy Hannigan revealed how hard he is fighting to extend his current Notts contract, which runs out in January. He is currently on loan at Alfreton Town. He also spoke to the ‘Official Site'

Midfield battler Matt Somner had an extended interview with the ‘Official Site'. He told them the squad are focused on the job in hand.

“We have the league to focus on totally now. We will be giving it our best shot to do aswell as we can.”

Left-back Austin McCann revealed to ‘Magpie World' how he is disappointed with his own form.

“Personally I was disappointed with how I played (at Orient). I was happy with my form at the start of the season but the last two or three games I have been disappointed. I've let my standards drop but hopefully I can get back, starting Saturday.”
