Despite the weather outside being warm enough for shorts and flip flops (well, kind of!) Notts County's Boxing Day match against Grimsby Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
With temperatures being a comparatively warm 5 degrees, overnight temperatures not being freezing, covers presumably being on the pitch, there still being 4 hours until kick off to help the affected areas thaw and our new over-pitch lights, we can't quite believe this has happened. But it has.
